Our Fees
Medicare-registered providers:
These clinicians have a Medicare provider number so you may be eligible for rebates for up to 10 sessions per year if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
Initial session = $275
Subsequent sessions = $245
Non-Medicare-registered providers:
Initial session: $230
Subsequent sessions: $210
Couples counselling: $260
Please note that not all therapists or sessions qualify for Medicare support. However, this does not reflect their level of expertise or experience, or the care you will receive with them.
We choose to reduce the costs of these non-rebated sessions to make things a little bit fairer for you under the current Medicare rules. Rest assured though, their Medicare status has no impact on the exemplary level of service and care all of our dedicated professionals provide.

Our Session Fee Policy
We know that life can be unpredictable. Illness, emergencies, and changing commitments happen - and we’re not here to make that harder (that’s sort of the exact opposite of what we do actually!)
That said, regular attendance is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy. Consistency helps you build momentum, integrate new insights, and reach your goals faster.
When sessions are missed or cancelled late, it not only affects your therapeutic journey, but also prevents us from offering that time to someone else who may be in need.
Importantly too, in a private practice setting (unlike within a medical clinic or larger organisation), our clinicians are only paid when sessions actually take place. We don’t receive government rebates or any kind of compensation for no-shows - which means last minute changes have a real impact on our ability to run the service sustainably.
That’s why our session fee policy exists - to protect your progress and support our team, all while ensuring we can continue offering high-quality care to all our clients.
See below for details…
Our Session Fee Policy - Specifics:
We require at least 2 full business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
If you cancel within 2 business days of your appointment, the full session fee will still be charged.
Payment is automatically processed on the morning of your session, unless a third party is responsible for covering the cost.
We do our best to support you in making the most of your time. If you’re unable to attend in person, we can often convert your session to:
A phone or online appointment
An email bundle of written or video-recorded strategies from your own therapist, or from our Therapy Bytes Modules.
If you choose not to use one of these options, the appointment will be cancelled and the session fee still applies.
Therapy is a shared commitment - we’re here to honour our part, and we really appreciate you doing the same.
